Lattimore vs pass rush

It's not that people hate lattimore because I think he can be a legit #1 corner. The problem is this dumb coaching staff still thinks you can just cover your way out of a horrible defense against the pass.
You could put Deion and Revis in their prime and they would look like shite with this defense because we have 0 pass rush and it doesn't matter who we put back there, you can't cover anyone in the league for 5 min.
That's why I am frustrated, every year they either are drafting or paying a high price free agent and it never works bc we do not have a pass rush at all. It's not by accident that Byrd, Browner, etc all look all world elsewhere and then come here and they suck.
I just don't get it, every year they do the same thing and yet never ever get a pass rushing end. Look I'm going to hold out hope that we find a diamond in the rough but it won't surprise me at all if the don't take a DE in this draft. Every year it's the same thing.

The alternative is reaching for the 3rd or 4th best DE when the best CB is available. Or reaching for the 5th or 6th best DE when the best OT is available. Neither option is palatable.

What edge rusher would you have taken at 11? I think anyone left would have been a reach, and at 32 those guys were gone. There are plenty of guys left to fill that roll in the upcoming rounds.

So you melt over not getting a pass rusher in the 1st round cause only in the 1st round do pass rushers exist.

Do you dumbasses not realize we have 3 great guys on the DL and we picked up Okafor and have Kihaha as well.
Now, granted those guys aren't studs and may not be reliable, but if we grab a guy in the 2nd like Bowser to add to that group, I think we see a very productive DE spot opposite Jordan.
Stop acting like our entire DL is terrible. We have as good of a pass rushing DT group as any in the league.
