Round 1 (No. 11 overall): DE Derek Barnett, Tennessee
Round 1 (No. 32): CB Tre'Davious White, LSU
Round 2 (No. 42): WR Curtis Samuel, Ohio State
Round 3 (No. 76): LB Duke Riley, LSU
Round 3 (No. 103): QB Nathan Peterman, Pittsburgh
Round 6 (No. 196): G Ben Braden, Michigan
Round 7 (No. 229): DT Josh Tupou, Colorado

I haven't heard much talk of Samuel but he looks like a guy that would flourish in the offense. Not sure how he compares to Tommylee Lewis. I might rather a TE at 42.

Outside of wasting a pick on a QB in the 3rd round, pretty good.

Obviously you can replace Tre White with Malcolm Butler.

Looks fine except the QB pick.

If we are going QB at this point it's first round or bust. You either believe a potential franchise guy is there or not.

So I agree no third round QBs. They all have flaws and rarely pan out (insert the rare Brady or Wilson rhetoric but it's rare).

They had a stat that almost every starting QB in the league was picked in the top 50 or something like that.

Yeah. I actually have this sinking feeling that if we somehow keep 32 and deal 42 for Butler, we will definitely draft Mahomes with 32.

It's moreso if you believe Brees is less than 100% coming back. You don't want to be left holding the bag here.

Whether we do or not will say a lot about whether Brees is leaning towards staying or going.

On this draft, I got to say I'm liking these mocks with Barnett to us. He's my preferred realistic DE get.

I really want duke. I think he will help in the pass game as a linebacker and will also be a play maker. Very under rated imo. Has all the tools to succeed in NFL even more so than college

Drew Brees was picked with the 32 pick so that would be fitting. That's if we don't give that pick to New England of course.

I agree with this and there's only one that fits the bill in this draft and that's Mahomes. And I wouldn't even be mad if they took him there honestly.

which one of larry holders drafts are real?

one says we take foster

one says we take Barnett

one on NBCSC says we take tribisky at #11 and a safety at #32 ????????

this guy is an idiot and has 50 different versions of everybody taking everybody at some point and none of them are based on common sense or a teams real draft needs

A little harsh? He's not an idiot but his guess is as good as anyone's. None of these guys really have a clue. The draft is very fluid and the majority of them are just looking for internet traffic. It's a form of entertainment and not the Bible. Just have fun with it.

He does a new one every couple weeks leading up to the draft and changes things around mostly based on what he hears. I enjoy it because it shows the different avenues the team can take on draft day.

That would be an awesome draft. The saints could use a guy like Samuel. This guy's mock is similar to a draft simulation I did recently but with a QB added
