No, no.

Pat doesn't think Larry is an elite sports analyst.

They can defiantly get someone better than Fletcher, but I rather have him over Kenny Wilkerson

I'm reading it this morning and I realize what I wrote doesn't make sense. I had a couple of drinks last night.

No offense but being a beat reporter for a 4 times a week newspaper with a circulation of under 350,000 isn't really that glamorous

If AM 690 is really for sale than yikes how bad is the AM radio market?

That station has done just about everything right over the past 6 years and everybody I know under 35 listens to it on the semi reg.

My guess is it will be Fletcher Mackel in which case 690 should just go to national yahoo radio from 11-2pm.

I listen to the hangover every day, but if they did this I would stop immediately. I'd rather listen to mushmouth Deke fart into the microphone while he analyzed the WNBA before listening to Fletch for three hours at my desk on a daily basis.

I did hear that it won't be Fletch FWIW.

If a beat writer for a 3 day a week paper can't keep up with a daily 3 hour show, the sports director for a tv news station surely can't.

I wouldn't mind Graff, but he has the Tulane gig coming up.

Does this mean Duncan is gone? I haven't really seen any articles from him lately (I don't go out of my way to look for them though.)

Big fan of AM690 programming. I hope they figure out a way to keep the show going. I don't understand why Holder cannot do both either. Doesn't Brian Allee Walsh write for the TP and had a show on AM690 for a min.?

I also will miss him if he doesn't do or they don't continue Thirsty Tiger Thursdays.

The TP is still a daily "paper". They just will only distribute an actual hardcopy of the paper 3 days a week. The reporting aspect of it is exactly the same or maybe even more bc they can throw the $ savings of printing to more reporting.
