i think titans would be glad to take Ramsey or Tunsil at No. 3, but at 1, i can't see them passing on OL.

WR's can gain a step or steps via things like route running, breaking a jam, & body positioning.

Jerry Rice was a 4.60 Wr and we know how that ends.

Antonio Brown is a 4.58 WR an runs by everyone

Some guys just know how to play.

But still, if you're picking a guy at 12, you definitely want better numbers than 4.65.

Honestly, I'd rather wait I think and pick a WR later. I like the depth this year. Hell, if we go D early and often, I wouldn't mind picking two WRs later.

Since Peyton Manning(basically modern day football) was drafted only 3 positions have gone no.1 overall. QB, OT, and DE.

Most Franchises still see these positions as the cornerstones of how to build a team.

Deion Sanders, Darrell Green, Champ Bailey, and Rod Woodson weren't even good enough to go no.1. Most top CB's have to fight to be Top 5.

Ramsey might be a great player but I can not say with confidence in any way shape or form that a franchise could take him no.1 and be able to justify it without significant backlash.

Calvin Johnson was probably as close as you can get to being a no.1 as a skill player and Jalen's measurables are no where near his stratosphere.

i understand but he wasn't healthy at combine. pro day is a better gauge of his time

I've always wondered how much stock an NFL scout puts into Pro Day numbers v Combine Numbers. At the Combine all things are equal (same field, same timer, and next to your direct competition); where as, some of these pro days seem to have question marks when it comes to their measurable (Some pro days have been caught w/ 39 yard distances, are the timers electric or hand timed...).

I think Treadwell will be good in the NFL, but I think there are a lot better options for our team at the 12 spot. I do not see him as a can't miss type like Julio, Calvin, A Johnson, A Brown...

I'm about like most here, question whether he can go as high as to #12 by any team. It is no done deal that he is even the first WR off the board

This doesn't mean he won't be a great receiver in the league, but 4.6 guys being great in the NFL is the exception, not the rule. Just not worth the risk with a #12 pick.

If. I remember right Deandre Hopkins didn't really have a fast 40 time but look at how well he separates at times

faster. Would still be hard to take at 12 for me

If we pick a WR in Rds 1-3 with all the needs on Def, our whole regime needs to change.

If we can just get to avg on Def then we are a playoff team again.

Take a look at our WR depth chart. I'll wait. It is an absolute abortion. WR is a pretty big need.

Anything after the first two rounds I'm fine with. We need WRs and Gs bad.

Our WHOLE DEFENSE WAS TERRIBLE last year!! Every position group. Our offense was highly ranked. We need young talent at every defensive position.

We need a OG so an 2/3 Rd pick wouldn't be bad if there is value. Brees' ability to make below avg. guys into quality NFL players speaks for itself. Who the eff was Willie Snead before last year?

Aging Colston isn't a huge loss and I believe Fleener is an upgrade over Watson.

Drafted in round 3. That's kind of the point. no one is denying that Treadwell can play and that he'll be a good WR in the NFL. The question is where do you draft a slow WR? IMO #12 is too high. I think he ends up going somewhere in the 20's.

Again, take a look at the depth chart. WR is definitely a need at some point.

He only fell to the 3rd because of injury issues, I've heard DJ say before he would be a top 10 pick in a redraft

I get what you're saying I just don't think a 40 time makes or breaks a player. I still want BPA at 12

Ok. Just not in the top 3 rounds. Mid round pick would be fine if there is value.

We need starters on Def right now. The only other position I think we could use a 2/3 would be OG.

Antonio Brown wasn't a "can't miss" type when coming out of college. He was drafted pretty late.

Laquan Treadwell and Duke Williams both hurt their draft stock with their lack of speed.

much easier to find an adequate OG late than a WR imo
