Lance works for NFL.com, considered a talent evaluator expert, on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

Colin asked him "Which 2-3 guys jump off the tape and could be transcendent players?"

Lance: "1. Hassan Reddick, could play OLB in a 3-4 or 4-3, could play edge rusher in 3-4 or 4-3, he's done it all in college and is what the future of the NFL looks like."

Lance: "2. David Njoku, he's a freak athlete whose just coming into his own."

Lance: "3. I'll go off script here and say Christian McCaffrey. He has a real chance to hit the ground running. 5 years ago, I would say he's a 2nd round pick easy, But today, if used properly, could be a play maker in multiple different ways. I actually don't have a super high draft grade on him, compared to how high my draft grade is on Leonard Fournette, but he's got serious potential."

Colin: "Who are guys that your opinion isn't as high as everyone else's"

Lance: "Pat Mahomes. It's easy to get excited about the big arm, there's no question he's got it, and the swagger and confidence, I'm with you. But, you can't throw up balls in a weak conference (Big 12), and get away with it in the NFL. Too often he makes throws that will be a pick in the NFL. He makes plays that are improvised, just like Johnny Manziel. In the NFL, you have to win from the pocket, he would have to learn how to do that. His tape doesn't measure up to the top 15 draft pick, I don't see it."

Lance: "Deshaun Watson, his velocity doesn't bother me, he has it when he needs it. What bothers me about him is he's a double digit INT guy every year he's started, he doesn't make the best decisions."

Lance made Reddick seem like the next "big thing", his face lit up when talking about him. Just food for thought.

I'm praying Reddick is there when the Saints pick. He has the potential to be the game changing defensive player this franchise has been missing for years. Freakish athlete who is explosive with a ton of upside. Sign me up

Why did Lehay dye her hair? I miss the blonde look

Likely will take who ever Cincinnati doesn't take, I've seen mocks where they take either: Reddick, Foster, or Barnett.

I'm with you, if they take Barnett, take Reddick and vise versa.

agreed, big arm talent and has many bad habits. He can get away with it in college, but questionable if those bad decisions will cost him in the pros. Someone can reel him in and he'll be a stud. Look at Rodgers, bad habits, sat and learned, minimizes the bad habits...although he still has many his football IQ is up there. I think the same of Mahomes

he's above average at best, I don't see a double digit INT as a problem if he's churning out 30 TDs a year.

I like Barnett at 11, Tre White at 32, and Evan Ingram at 42.
