He would really give us an edge in terms of rushing the passer and also coverage. He is a proven winner too.

Last I heard he was talking with the Titans and possibly trying to work out a deal with NE. Just kind of shocked that we didn't throw our name in the hat. Would set us up nicely to go pass rusher first round and BPA second.

Yes he is. Considering we haven't changed our Defense yet. Sorry you're not selling me on AJ Klein and we already know what were getting in Fairley.

So we have done exactly jack and shite on the Defense so far.

I've been thinking the same thing, I guess too high of a price tag.

I think he's going to surprise people. If Rivera, a former LB, kept him on the team to back up the best MLB in the NFL, he's probably decent at least.

You sound like a Hell of a GM. What's your Madden record?

Well to start, getting rid of shitty coordinators and bringing in Mike Nolan makes the defense better.

Not to mention getting solid players back from injury and having a healthy Rankins will help

Hightower isn't slow. I would love to have him on the team but he's going to cost way too much money. This team is probably not even looking at him anymore so that's why they got Klein.

Miami is going to offer him the biggest contract, Tennessee is talking to him and he just built a mansion in Nashville (he's a Tennessee native) and the patriots want him back

To put it simply, the saints can't offer him what it would take to get him

I'm not sure how much cap room Miami has, they've been in contact but they clearly haven't knocked his socks off

His market has been surprisingly slow, which bodes exceedingly well for the Pats to resign him.

I think some teams have scared themselves off by his potential demands and not realistic ones.

The fact there isn't much chatter about teams trying to get him is crazy to me. He's ranked #4 FA according to NFL.com

I think the market for MLBs is considerably lower than he or his agent expected and that's why the Pats let him find his value before really going after him. Pretty ballsy but smart move by the pats.
