2 CB's and a QB...I would murder Allen and Payton.

Turner supposedly had a really bad senior year and it is hard to trust anything Bama...they have an amazing supporting cast to work with and this draft has 3 round DT value...Why waste our first pick on a deep position?

Your best picks have checkered pasts putting it lightly. Noah is also a 3-4 OLB pass rush specialist that you want to turn into A 4-3 DE= another project player. Robinson...when was his last LSU game? Pre BAMA 2014?

Outside of Delvin Breaux, who do we have? Keenan Lewis who will be 31 next season on very bad knees. Or maybe Brandon Browner whom I don't even need to get into. I'm not saying the guys I picked will be studs or something, but we need CBs bad.

Breaux, Lewis, Swann, Williams at least. Browner is no sure cut either. We need front 7 on D more. Not to mention an upgrade at G, WR, and a true heir to TE possibly unless 35 year old Ben Watson sounds like a solid plan.

I sort of see where you are going picking a CB but just not two in a row.

we had rotten luck due to injuries at corner this year and besides Breaux it was pretty bad to watch.

i still think a lot of that could be covered up if we made upgrades to the D-line. So I like your first two picks but I don't think they are all that realistic. But I'd do the same thing on a draft simulator if given the same/similar options.

I like the picks, the value is there for each. I'd would have taken a TE in the 4th or 5th though.

2 of those have injury question marks and one is a complete unknown. We probably don't need 2 CBs but another one wouldn't hurt.

Why the hell not? He's not getting any better and we'd just be wasting a roster spot to save face.

Taking Rashard Robinson before the 6th round is laughable.

He's being talked about as a top 10-15 pick, so he likely won't be there in the 2nd.

2015 PJ Williams 3rd
2015 Damian Swann 5th
2014 Stanley Jean-Baptiste 2nd
2014 Vinnie Sunseri 5th
2013 Kenny Vacarro 1st
2012 Corey White 4th
2011 Johnny Patrick 3rd
2010 Patrick Robinson 1st
2009 Malcom Jenkins 1st
2009 Chip Vaughn 4th
2008 Tracy Porter 2nd
2007 Usama Young 3rd
2007 David Jones 5th

2006 Roman Harper 2nd
2006 Josh Lay 6th

Why flush draft picks...we obviously have trouble scouting the secondary especially CB. Our best acquisitions there have almost all been FA adds. Greer, Lewis, Breaux, and Sharper(FS).

Also cutting Browner would basically be like shooting ourselves in the foot again. We already lead the league in dead money...I hate the frick but are we going to really spend more money on people not being here?

Yet you call the position deep because of two we just drafted.

Also our worst, Browner.

He's still dead money if you keep him on the roster and he also gives you nothing but negative while on the field.

Will most likely be off the board by then. He blew up at the senior bowl and got a lot of attention.

Never once said or implied deep. I was saying for a team in our position(talent lite) that just invested 2 picks at that same position a year ago that investing in a defensive front may pay more dividends for an already expensive and heavily invested in secondary.

quote:

still dead money if you keep him

Dead weight and useless if you start him absolutely. However if you play him in spots or certain situations with a better front maybe he could be of some use. He would be an expensive 4th-5th option however that is a bed that is already made. 2 SB winning teams found ways to win with him...surely he can do something.

Not sure how much it matters that we've sucked picking CBs in the past since our evaluation department has been shaken up a lot over the last year and delivered a pretty nice draft last offseason.

Saying we have "Breaux, Lewis, Swann, and Williams at least" is that implication. And if you don't think we're deep I'm not sure how you can say we don't need to add there.

Not necessarily. His skills have clearly diminished in addition to the league cracking down on his primary skill.
