There are 4 “tune-up teams” that have always been in place to get kicked around:
Detroit
NOLA
Cleveland
Houston
(In no particular order)

We each have a bit of success from time to time, but we aren’t supposed to win.

I know damn well we weren’t EVER supposed to win a Super Bowl.
Folks can say it was because of Katrina or whatever, but I think that 09 Saints team was a team of destiny. The ball bounced our way all season. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I doubt that o ever will again.

Regardless of what’s going on, the terrible coaching, trash management and roster issues, I riding till the wheels fall off, boys. WD4L

Well, that's an interesting bit of thinking, though not very rational from what I see. This is an odd grouping you picked.

I actually agree with most of this. It was amazing. But every coach will tell you that in those special seasons, the ball just seems to bounce the right way.
