Here are Drew's average season stats with the Saints since 2006. Remember this is for a NINE YEAR STRETCH and these are his AVERAGES:

424/628 for 4,854 yards; Cmp Pct: 67.5%; TD-35; INT-16; Passer Rating: 99.0

AWW NAWW BRUH HE'S A SHELL. WE DESERVE BETTER. I'M A BANDWAGON FAN. COCK DREAMS.

Now that I'm finished being a douche, Drew Brees is the most untouchable player in the league as far as I'm concerned. He's a great football player as well as person (as far as we know... looking at you, Jared from Subway and Darren Sharper. Bitch Boy.)

Here is the update for 2015. What's striking is how close to all of his averages almost all of his numbers were this year, in what was supposedly a year of decline, a down year if you will. We heard this year that it was time to trade Brees for some draft picks etc. Here are the 2015 numbers and the new averages:

quote:

2015: 428/627 for 4,870 yards; Cmp Pct 68.3%; TD - 32; INT - 11; Passer rating: 101.0

quote:

Avg since 2006: 424/628 for 4,856; Cmp Pct 67.5%; TD - 35; INT - 15; Passer rating: 99.2

The hate he gets for INTs sometimes is baffling.

I also thought it would be interesting to see the average game of Drew Brees in a Saints uniform. Remember, this is for 158 games over 10 years (he's only missed 2 games as a starter).

Avg. game - 27/40; 307.3 yards per game; TD - 2.2; INT - 1

Also here are his average numbers from his 10 playoff games in a Saints uniform:

28/42; 322 yards per game; TD - 2.2; INT - 0.5

I agree. Even his 10 year average comes out to 628 attempts and 15 INTs. That comes out to one INT per 42 attempts over his Saints career. And those INT numbers are inflated during several years in which the Saints could not run the ball (2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012 in particular) so everyone knew he was passing every down. Also remember he literally had no coach at all for half the season in 2012 (when Pete was acting as head coach while Vitt was out) and even when Vitt came back, he didn't have his head coach. The Saints had the No. 2 offense in the NFL that year. That is literally insane.

Yep, his interception % is the same as Manning's, despite having, on average, much worse defenses

Edit: he's actually lower than Manning.

Manning 2.7% (28th all time); Brees 2.7%, 14th all-time

The new guys all have low int percentages.

He gambles a bit too much, but that is what a gunslinger does.

I wouldn't have it any other way
