Dobbs is one of the few draft qb's I actually watched play this year... he isn't worth a 3rd. His teammate at RB is.

People talk about Brees mentoring a QB yada yada yada, doesn't mean shite if they're an idiot
Dobbs may have work to do throwing the ball, but he checks all the intangible boxes as far as intelligence, being a good teammate etc. if you want a physically gifted QB project in the later rounds to absorb info from Brees (and even Daniel to an extent), Dobbs is the best bet. I get a little Russ Wilson and Dak blend from him

Neither of them left you feeling like they hadn't maxed out their potential in college like Dobbs. He does have the intangibles to maybe stay in the league but I don't think he has the ability to make any impact.

I mean it's easier to say now since they have enjoyed NFL success, but Dobbs has a lot of the same knocks they did coming out. All of them were around 60% passers in college, except Russ and Dak started longer and threw a lot more passes. shite Wilson was terrible his first 3 years at NC state and Dak was more bad than good until his SR year. So if anything I'd say Dobbs has room to grow
Wilson became a 73% passer after 3 years of sub 60% comp and 1180 passes under his belt going into SR year at Wisconsin
Dak became a 66% passer after 3 years of averaging 61% and 692 passes under his belt going into his SR year
Dobbs sitting at 62% through 999 career passes. Next time we see him could be his jump
All three seem to be cut from the same cloth too.

J-Dobb continues to rise. Louis Riddick on Mike and Mike just said Trubisky #1, then Watson, Mahomes, and J-Dobb at #4. Bad coaching and system at UT, "You will see the best of Josh Dobbs in the NFL."
