we could use another run-stopper.

Let me know your opinions.

No, lots of other talent for DL's in the draft. I think we need as many picks as we can get in this draft. Why trade away picks for this year and potentially next year when you can still get a quality DL in the draft other than Bosa?

Sounds logical.

If the price is right I won't be surprised if the saints try to trade up for Buckner or Bosa. It all depends on what happens in the top 3. Dallas and Baltimore are the 2 teams we could possibly trade with.

That's my logic in this situation.

Please never ever trade up again in the draft. The %s and statistics say get as many picks as possible.

I'm not for moving up. BUT with the Saints history and if they had him rated high enough it is imaginable.

For reference-
trading #47 could move ya to #5 or 6
trading #78 could move ya to #8

Buckner, Jack, or Bosa still on the board at #8 I could see them slobbering over. #8 is Philly tho. Big talk currently that they wanna move UP for a QB. Maybe if they wanna fall back for Lynch? Prolly could go lower than #12 tho.

They shouldn't...but there has been a history of trading up.

I hope we trade up to grab another outstanding Alabama running back. It worked out great for us last time.

Ingram? He's a good back.

I don't think Bosa or Buckner is worth our 1st and 2nd rounder.

If we moved anywhere on the draft board I would prefer to move down. Sliding to the early 20s would give us more than enough ammo to upgrade our 2nd rounder into a late 1st rounder while still retaining all of our original picks(minus the 2nd and acquired pick for sliding) or we could sit pat with the additional early pick and just start filling needs.

which collection of picks would you prefer?

1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th - Bosa or Buckner

1st, 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th - Butler/Dodd or
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th - Shop till you drop

When healthy and not worth what we have up to the patriots to get him.

Nah Lawson as 12....hopefully. I'm worried about the Bucs or Giants taking him though

If we trade up for Bosa then Loomis should GTFO with the quickness.

About half of the top 30 projected picks are d linemen. No need to reach for one. You can draft solid prospects at that position in virtually every round. It's reasonable to believe that we will see more flops at that position than any other.

Only person I would trade up for is Myles Jack.
