That's all the tweet from Doug Mouton said. Can't wait to hear the rest of this story.

I heard that he almost caught them, but tripped on the curb after taking a bad angle.

Vitt was at his home about 3:50 a.m. Sunday when he spotted a shadow moving across his front lawn, said Col. John Fortunato, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office. The 61-year-old coach stepped outside to investigate and discovered a blonde woman in khaki shorts and wearing gloves about to enter his neighbor’s unlocked car.

Vitt then turned to his own car — which was unlocked as well — and noticed a man was inside of it, Fortunato said. The man and woman began running away when they noticed Vitt, and the coach ran after them until he fell to the ground and hurt himself.

I'm sure he called them "shadows" to JPSO.

Well... now we know where it all comes from. Mystery solved.

Really though good job coach watching over the neighborhood.
Get better soon you crazy SOB. And be armed next time.

He purchased our house, this is crazy considering the neighborhood it's in.

A lot of disrespect on this board for a man that tried to help his neighbor, like he helped us win a super bowl.

At least he practices what he preaches. Getting hurt probably taking shitting angles and poor pursuit technique.
