I don't mind giving Duncan hell. After the way Duncan shite on the Saints and the fans during bounty gate, he deserves it and more. However, MT seems to have the mental capacity of a 2 year old. He is immature, unprofessional and unstable.

I'm not a Michael Thomas defender by any stretch, but Jeff Duncan reported something as news that was certainly not news. MT was always going to be released at the start of the league year. That was agreed to last year in the contract. It's fun to pile on Duncan, but for the life of me I do not know how a veteran reporter like him can make such a blunder. It boggles the mind. MT is right to be a little peeved.

That's not a blunder. The organization did a good job keeping Payton's intentions quiet until they were official, so Duncan was analyzing the offseason as if it were going to be like any other. What happened today was a flat out misreporting of a fact. No analysis or guesswork, just plain fake news. I don't mind these guys being wrong on analysis or predictions. To get a news report wrong is not acceptble.

They leaked the lie to him. And he ran with it because he is a hack who wanted to please the team.
