Here's my question. What would be the cap hit for cutting Bush after this season? If its the same as his Salary, then it'd be pointless to cut him since he does bring something to the table.

Given that, I wouldn't be surprised to see them cut a deal with Reggie for restructuring. The risk is that if its uncapped than teams wanting to make a splash may offer him a ridiculous 2 year contract with 2nd year being incentive-laden.

he spoke at a luncheon i attended and basically said Reggie is an outcast and hates being bothered by fans.

told a story about how the players were at a function, and there was a handicapped girl there that was taking pictures and getting autographs from all the players, but she really want to meet Reggie and get his autograph, but he acted like he was too busy to meet and great the girl and ended up clocking out early to go eat without ever talking to this little girl.

He actually said this to a group of fans? Seems uncharacteristic of him

and that's because the saints bring in way, way more revenue for the city and state. The state wins in the arrangement.

I had a chance to talk to Jim at his house in the offseason. I couldn't get any dirt out of that dude despite my best efforts. Nothing but upbeat and positive about the Saints and their players

look i never want to lose them....but i wouldnt want to pay a hockey team out of my taxable earnings to keep them running. sounds alot like socialism. an nfl business doesnt need to further drain fans "because its a good arrangement" i already support them with merchandise and game day tickets etc
