I thought Jamal was brought in for short yardage and to burn clock with a lead saving AK a bit not to be all world #1 RB stud

Forgive victory, the saints are 2-0, so he's upset

You replied that most of his carries were against an elite run defense. I didn't disagree. Instead, I offered the counterpoint that Carolina is not elite, yet he was still arse.

Nuance.

Not at all.

I've stated many times that I agree with everyone that said the Saints have a weak schedule so the division is ripe for the picking. The caveat I also added is that no one thinks this squad is actually good, just that they have a weak schedule and can capitalize.

Terrible signing

He sealed the game with his run in week 1 but k. Most TD’s in the league last year.

I guess you can see the future as far as player injuries?

They’re one of the poorer run defenses in the nfl.

18th, almost even with the Eagles by yards

It’s really irrelevant because he had 8 carries or whatever it was

AK is back next week. We will be fine with Miller and Jones for one game plus Taysom. What exactly is Williams’ injury? It’s obviously a pretty bad to go on the IR but hamstrings are very touchy and you can’t rush back. Maybe he’s got a pretty bad strain which probably keeps him out 6 weeks.

Plenty of FA RBs can do what he does. He’s arse

I agree. This loss doesn’t even move the needle.

I wonder if you people watch the games or just get hammered with the radio broadcast. Because Williams ran up the middle four times against the Panthers and gashed them every time. It’s not his fault the dumbass coordinator decided to start running him outside. And after the second time he lost yards going outside , you’d think it would be obvious but it wasn’t.

Then later? Let’s run Taysom outside *towards the qb lined up as a receiver , yeah that’s a great blocker!* and what do you get ? Another loss. Saints ran fine up the gut when they wanted. Why they stopped? Idk. But Williams isn’t “arse”.

Tony Jones didn’t get the same yards up the middle

not sure what you think you are watching.

taysom was very productive running out of the backfield edge and inside.

jones was very productive both edge and inside moreso as an inside runner.

williams has not looked good either way for 2 weeks.
