Really, he is responsible for our best defense since the dome patrol. He left, we've sucked on D ever since

For all that he did wrong, Gregg Williams had our defense play as well as it could with the talent we had. His style was perfect for our offense, when it would take an early lead. Unfortunately, it's overshadowed by two playoff duds from our safeties, and of course, the bounty crap.

In 2009 we were still statistically average at best. Ranked 2nd in Takeaways, which skewed our view on the defense as a whole.

still one of the better saints defenses. The turnovers did not just magically happen.

Still "technically count" as a turnover by the defense because they had possession haha. But seriously I do miss the 2000 defense. If only we had the Bree's era offense to match.

Joe Johnson, Laroi Glover, Norman Hand, Darren Howard's rookie year, Keith Mitchell, Mark Fields, Sammy Knight among others. Fun squad to watch.

The best part (only good part) about that Vikings playoff loss was the commercials they had with the Saints defensive players clowning and ESPECIALLY the La`Roi Glover United Way commercial where he stole the bite of the cake. Never been able to find it.
