The JV roster Rob had to work with since he got here. I hope Rob laughs his big arse off next year when the defense still sucks

Apparently you missed where we gave huge contracts to both of our DEs and made Byrd the highest paid safety of all time. Brees's fault, doe.

it has nothing to do with brees and everything to do with terrible drafts for nearly a decade

Well thanks Jimmy Loomis too.... I know NFL stands for not for long...but you could get Belicheck to coach the d fense and they still would suck. So why fire him?

people keep saying this and its doesnt make sense.

maybe the players dont respond to Ryan?

maybe Ryan doesn't prepare as well as he could?

maybe his Asst coaches dont respect him?

maybe Dennis Allen needs an audition as DC for next year?

maybe someone else can stop the trajectory of becoming the worst defense ever. Even a slight improvement could lead to more wins

Or at least lead to 37-14 type losses.

When we had players his first year they were #4 ranked. By constantly changing cordinators makes matter worst

he went from 4th to 28th in one year. Just about every player that played well in 2013 played like crap in 2014.

As a Dallas fan who suffered through terrible, awful, sucky Rob Ryan defenses, I LOL'd and LOL'd and LOL'd at the Saints when they signed Ryan. I tried to warn all my Saints fan friends (I was sad too, because Saints are my #2 team) that it would end in disaster.

Y'all should have checked in the weekly DaGarun Dallas thread on the MSB. He woulda tole ya too.

Money well spent, and I don't think Rob Ryan had any input into the decisions to offer those player the contracts that overpay those players so severely.

Rogers, Flacco, Newton, Ryan, and Wilson all have bigger contracts than Brees and their defenses don't suck this bad.

But sure, it's all Drews fault.

How in the f--- do you know what Belichick would be able to do with our roster? Get off your soapbox clown.

And make no mistake - it will if the rest of the staff isn't shown the door. History has proven that.

Way back when they had to pay Brees the big salary I kinda thought it might come back to bite them in the long run. Not his fault - he got what the market indicated. And really the Saints had no other choice. There would have been uproar if they didn't sign him. It was just one of those circumstances.

I guess there are teams that can do it - New England manages. Green Bay seemed to until this year. The Colts/Broncos I'm not so sure.
