Barkley is another in the long line of USC pretty boy QB's that never make it in the NFL as quality starters. Has their been a quality NFL Trojan QB since the days of Pat Haden?

yeah, I here you. That would be great if the Cardinals did take him. But just know that teams will send out a bunch of smoke screens for the next several weeks leading up to the draft.

Yes this is very good for us. The more QBs that go before us (that really shouldn't), the more quality defensive players or OTs slip to us. Hopefully a workout warrior WR or two, etc sneak in there.

I remember when the meme was "Tetford coached QBs" before it was "USC QBs".
I don't give a frick about Barkley, where he's drafted, or how he does in the NFL. However, I abhor lazy thinking and faulty logic. Your statement is an example of both.

Hi, GFY.
If USC actually had a quarterback who wasn't going to be a bust then I wouldn't say that. I liked Carson Palmer coming out. But you can't tell me that if Barkley was quarterback for any other team and wouldn't have gotten this much hype in college he would even be considered a 1st round pick.

While I agree with that statement, that's not the topic.
The topic is your idiotic statement which was essentially, "Barkley went to USC, like Leinert. Because they are both highly regarded QBs from USC, and because Leinart sucks, it's safe to assume that Barkley will suck."
That's lazy and flawed thinking.
Barkley may in fact end up sucking, but his going to USC has nothing to do with it.

Another pretty boy QB from USC that will underperform in the NFL, like Leinart and even Sanchez.
