Is the media going overboard on this Nick Foles' magic s***?

yes, they've played well recently but he was hardly the reason they beat the Bears and it took a bad bounce of a FG to keep them alive

Overboard, maybe.
But he is a concern. Their offense is somehow better with Foles at helm than when the technically more talented Wentz was running it earlier this year. Better tempo and chemistry.
He can make accurate connections in clutch drives/situations and it’s resulted in multiple big wins.

I'm just glad Eagles don't have a running game

For some reason the team seems to play with more confidence with NF in there. It all seems psychological, but that can be dangerous.

He looked like dogshit last game.
Not worried

I don't think it's anything he's doing. They are just playing great defense right now

The more they fellate him, the less pressure on us. He was on the cover of SI this week for God’s sake.

When we smoke that Eagle blowout style in the dome!! They will stop...

Remember when Hall of Fame and Greatest Show on Turf v.2.0 quarterback, Kurt Warner couldn't be beat?
Remember when Mr. Clutch, NFL Golden Boy, John Madden butt buddy, Brett Favre couldn't be beat?
Remember when all-time great, NFL poster boy, destiny says Super Bowl, Peyton Manning couldn't be beat?
I member.

I’m not too worried about Foles per se but he has some serious weapons offensively; Jeffrey, Nelson Ag, Tate, Ertz

These are the 4 teams he played well against and where they ranked against the pass:
TB- 26
LA- 14
Hou- 28
Was*- 15
*This was a Washington team down to something like a 5th string QB and had cut a starting safety before the game, while their other starting safety didn't start the year with them.
When he played Atl in game one when they had everyone healthy he played like absolute shite: 117 yards, no TDs, 1 pick, 56% completion rate, and a 51 QB rating.
He played poorly (but not as poorly) against the Bears, finishing with 266 yards, 2 TDs, 2 picks, 63% completion rate, and a 78 QB rating. And Chicago dropped a couple of other picks iirc.
With how brilliant he has looked at some points, he had looked equally as terrible at others. He followed an amazing 2013 with a dreadful 2014 (and had a dreadful 2012 prior). That's why his career QB rating is 88.5.
And even if he does manage to bring some magic, they are ranked worse than us in pass defense and just gave up about 300 yards to Trubisky.
They are playing with an inexperienced secondary outside of S Jenkins, S Graham (who's a journeyman) and CB Douglas (who is only decent).
We'll be in the Dome and this isn't the Cowboys or Panthers defense on the road.
Expect us to put up a ton of points, and Foles magic won't be able to keep up.

There is another with a power much greater than Nikolas Foles. He is one that came before him. His power is strongest in his home in The City that Care Forgot during the time of year known as the playoffs. He has never lost in his home during that time of year. I am speaking, of course, of the White Wizard known as Drew Brees. His magic will overcome.

Jeffery, while still having great hands, is on the downslope. The other receivers aren't serious weapons. Sproles is over the hill.
Ertz is the only serious weapon they have and we easily contained him the first time (mostly because their other weapons aren't scary). He had 2 catches for 15 yards.
Between Davis, Anzalone, Williams, and Bell we'll have the middle of the field and short stuff covered. Just need to hold up on the intermediate to deep outside and we'll be fine.

We faced a much better QB with much better WRs a couple weeks ago and won. You think anyone would actually take foles over brees?

Media is selling a product. If they don't hype, fewer people will watch. Foles is the best angle they have. It's not complicated.
