I spotted SP at Whole Foods on Mag last night and, not unlike many uptown Nola residents, he was sporting Bama gear whilst perusing the isles with the former Ms West Virgina.

Would not be surprised to see Jackson and Sunseri in our defensive backfield next year.

Was surprised to see Coach up close and notice the recent work he's had done to lift that mug of his.

Do you honestly think signing an aging Safety for probably pretty cheap is going to stop us from drafting a much needed Safety next year?

Oh boy.

If Jammal Adams was the only player in next years draft, and the Saints had the only pick in the draft, Payton would trade it away just to spite you.

Just curious. This particular poster is a member of that group.

We need an RA option for "member of the grillnut troll group that is bringing down Saints Talk".

Is your premise that the organization purposefully avoids drafting LSU players, and signs FA plays expressly to eliminate the possibility of drafting LSU players in the future?

Yes, this is the proposition.

Post on TD and hopefully shake some of you sheep out of deluded trance.

they don't care where a player went to college.

Obviously. If they looked into where a kid went to college, maybe they would target some worthwhile players and the franchise wouldn't serve as the stagnant buoy constantly being pooped on by the the majority of the rest of the NFC.

... Bottom line is that the Harper signing is a tactic to bring excitement. And that's sad because instead of looking in our back yard, we're again forced to believe we can relive 09.

Do you honestly think this? I mean, really? Signing a 33 year old player the vast majority of our fans were happy to see let go was done to excite the fan base?

I'm not even going to touch how you idiotically somehow turned this into the Saints being anti-LSU.

I think it's obvious. We got rid of certain leadership when we brought in that fat guy who coached the defense, now that he's gone, the front office thinks they can rekindle a flame from 6+ years ago.

I don't know why they think this will work, but they do.

Na, just confused as to the reasoning behind ignoring the other team you share the same newspaper with. LSU has a bigger fanbase than the Saints and great local talent ..

I wood just think if we were trying to excite everybody about the upcoming season, we'd have tried a little harder in previous drafts and not gotten so cute with free agency.

Larungitis and Harper are just going to serve as the "weird uncles" of the team.
