Is the DL and WR just not as good as years past?

Not watched the Saints much this year, as not a fan. But this game it really seems the DL and WR talent has just plummeted from the past. Is it injuries, poor drafts, or am I just watching "one of those games"?

O-line is really at the center of this whole teams problems. No run game, no play action, hardly ever having sustained drives. It keeps our depleted defense on the field and Brees running for his life.

Thanks for answer. I haven't watched play but once this year.

Was shocked to see Stills playing for Miami last week. I always thought he was good since days at OU. He's one of the guys I liked to watch play.

Terrible drafting, terrible contacts, terrible free agent deals, Brees arm turning into a noodle while having a huge cap hit. Those are what the saints problems are.

We have one legit NFL WR. And he's second tier. Or TE is good, but past his prime. The offensive line has two good players, one decent player and two poor players.

Our defensive line has always sucked. Jordan plays good at times, but often gets lost in all the other players poor plays. Defense is just void of talent, save two or three players.

Seriously, watch Brees throw a deep ball. He has to put so much arch into it, it creates more hang time, loses velocity, and makes a much easier ball to defend.

Between that and Peytons play calling becoming just as predictable as Les Miles, this is why we are where we are. It is honestly time to blow up the roster, coaching staff, and GM position.

In the NFL with the speed of the defensive backs its a huge problem. And to make matters worse the receivers dont get open

Truth...the Saints are in a bad fix, don't see much help for the next year either...
