That Reuben Foster hung up on the Saints? I didn't see it in this thread(Saints) but saw it mentioned on social media

He said he was talking to the saints then the 49ers called and said they wanted to draft him and then he said he hung up on saints. So yeah he did and it really don't matter

He said he didn't mean to hang up on them, but the 49ers called while he was talking to the Saints. He clicked over. The 49ers told him that they were going to pick him, and he said, "No, the Saints are." They explained that they jumped the Saints to #31, and he was their selection. He did not want to click back to the Saints while he was talking to the team that was going to draft him.

Payton called him to ask him a question before making a decision to draft him. He wasnt 100% guaranteed to be a Saint. While he was the phone with Payton the Niners called to select him.

Yeah Loomis said in his an interview that they didn't call him to tell him they were picking him, they were calling him to ask him a question.
