Is It Safe to Say the Saints Will Have a Top 10 Draft Pick?

Right now we are at 9 with the potential to go higher. Especially if Jacksonville gets a head to head W against us. That will help us move up.
Nonetheless, even though this isn't the season we wanted, there were some awesome moments. Young guys Armstead, Snead, and Anthony give you hope for a better future. Just have to keep rebuilding our team. Love reading y'all's posts!

I would not say it is safe...I mean these are the Saints we have a real good chance to win the next two games because that is how we do things..
But I do agree we have some good young talent on defense and on the O line to build from.
Armstead, Pete has shown he can play and should improve. I like Snead
On defense our LB Kahaha and Anthony look like they could be solid plus Breaux
I hope we can just get rid of Browner.

I haven't looked at the standings, but I'd say sitting at 9 with 2 games 2 go is not "safe." Brees and Payton have too much pride to tank on purpose. As they should. Hopefully we can try to win but still lose.

I'm not sure if we win or lose either of the next two games. I have a feeling we end up drafting 11 or 12. All gut feelings. Check back in the next few weeks.

I think there is no way we win both of these last two games. We get 1 win at the most.

0 the very least. I'd say two is our ceiling.

We have been doing this very well recently

No. Just like last year. They won a pointless game against Tampa to move us from around 8 to 13. Time to pack it in fellas. Let's get a too 10 pick and start to rebuild. I think Ireland will have us stocked with another solid draft. I just hope we can get a game changer if we are in the top 10.

I don't see us drafting any better than 7th.

Look at the big board
Are there surefire franchise changing studs here?
It really does not matter where we draft.

Doesn't matter where we pick, it matters who we draft! Top ten draft pick does NOT mean automatic future pro-bowler. The ONLY thing that matters is who we draft, not where we pick but who we DRAFT.
I can see Saints trading back in the 1st to add an extra 2nd or 3rd round guy. There will be some plug & play players in the 3rd and 4th rounds. This is a good draft class.
Who would you want us to draft?
I like Reggie Ragland, Jaylon Smith, N'ashawn Robinson, and Shaq Lawson. We need some D-line/LB play to help out Anthony & Jordan!

Treadwell if he's there. other wise I don't mind a OT or shaq Lawson or Robinson from Bama

Sorry I meant to upvote you
Yeah I agree
I'd have a hard time passing on Treadwell. There's a ton aof quality dlineman and you could feasibly get Treadwell/Nassib/3rd round D lineman and a guard in the 4th.
Would anyone be mad at that? Id be quite happy.
Like Robinson/Lawson a lot too,Buckner from Oregon and Ogbah could rise as well.

A lot of people say we need defense (which we do) but if you take treadwell your wide receivers will be Snead cooks and him. That's scary for the next 4-6 years
