The Carolina game shouldnt even be about drew. Feed Ingram and Drew will need <35 attempts.

I'll bet the saints record when drew has less than 35 attempts is astounding.

The game where he went 11/13 in the 2nd half for 160 yards and a TD. The game were we had a game winning drive to advance?
--1 of the incompletions was a throw away

One of the best halfs of football he's ever played, with the game on the line, on the road, in the playoffs

Do you want to count games he left (i.e. Week 17's that he plays 1 quarter?)

2006: 8-0 (Not going to count a game he played 1 drive)
2007: 2-1
2008: 5-1
2009: 12-0
2010: 2-0
2011: 2-0
2012: 3-0
2013: 6-0
2014: 2-0

In his Saints career, he has gone: 42-2 when he throws for 35 or less.

Like how you just cherry picked to your liking.

There's 2 halfs of a football game. He was complete arse in the 1st half.

He had a chance to erase a stigma on him and all he did was make it stronger.

And don't act like the running game didn't win that game it wasn't him. And I'm not denying he didn't have a solid second half.

Hmu when he played a great whole game on the road. Hell even in his best game against the niners he threw two picks.

Die hard saints fan but drew brees simply isn't in a class with tom and Peyton until he has a few flawless road games under his belt. He's gonna retire being known as an overrated system quarterback who cant win or play well on the road. And that isn't me that's most football fans opinion and y'all know and go to ends to deny it. He's the least respected "elite" quarterback As it is already.

The Seahawks upset is one I'll give him.

You mean you liked how I presented an argument

Yes there is. He played poorly in the first with 2 deep picks.

Then he absolutely dominated in the 2nd

quote:

And don't act like the running game didn't win that game it wasn't him.

Uh, he completed 7 straight passes to open the 2nd half and give us a double digit lead. He threw a 24 yard TD pass and hit a 40 yard pass to Meachem in the 3rd. We used the running game like we always should.

By winning a road playoff game? If that is the game that made you lose hopes, than you're a joke.

quote:

Brees bounces back from rough first half
Drew Brees was 10-18 for 98 yards and two interceptions in the first half. Brees’ teams had been 0-3 all-time in games in which he had thrown a pick. But Brees bucked that trend by bouncing back in the second half – completing 10 of 12 passes for 152 yards and a score.

At the end of the first half, Brees' QBR was 12.9. In the second half, it was 93.5.

If he "dominated" as you say we would have scored more than 26( I think that was the final)

Nobody give a frick. Do it the ENTIRE game. Don't throw 2 ints in the first place.

Again "dominated" with his 75 rating and 1 td.

No by playing like crap on the road which was expected/predicted and he once again backed it up.

Dude just stop and get his dick out of your mouth. We rushed for 185, anyone who saw that game non saints fan will say the running game won that and Brees stunk it up.

then you show me the opinion of a woman and a local beat writer to back you up??

We scored 20 second half points...

We punted once in the 2nd half and ran the clock down from 5 minutes in the 4th quarter

Nobody give a frick

So you're a nobody?

It was the 1st road playoff win in franchise history. People gave a big frick

I never said that we didn't rely on the run game. We should have done it in the 1st half in the cold.

But anyways:

Some headlines after the game:

quote:

With Sean Payton and Drew Brees, the Saints are capable of winning anywhere -- even on the road, even Seattle, writes Ashley Fox. Story

quote:

Can't win a big game on the road? Can't win in the cold? Can't rely on the run game when it counts? The Saints proved the doubters wrong with a wild-card victory in Philly, Mike Triplett writes. Blog

quote:

Turns out the New Orleans Saints aren't so helpless outside the Superdome.

Our only road playoff victory is when you lost faith in our QB

You're a fricking idiot

Talk about the other 30 minutes

He ended the game with 1td-2ints and a 75 rating. asscheeks

Years previous Drew has been good in playoff road games though. But lately he's a shitshow and a walking turnover

THIS IS A TEAM GAME DIPSHIT
IM NOT GIVING A GUY WITH 1 measly td and 2 turnovers credit for that win

I did. I said he play poorly.

The game was 7-6 at halftime, and he put together an incredible 2nd half

quote:

THIS IS A TEAM GAME DIPSHIT

I'm aware of this, so why are you bashing Brees for our road troubles?

Do you realize how poorly Peyton Manning played during the playoffs when they won the Super Bowl?

quote:

IM NOT GIVING A GUY WITH 1 measly td and 2 turnovers credit for that win

Dipshit, no one is asking you to.

Not giving him credit, and saying this:

quote:

After the philly game I lost all faith in him.

is completely different. If he lost your faith in the 1st half, he should have easily got it back with his performance in the 2nd.

Drew Brees is a not good quarterback on the road ok.
I thought he managed that game well but to say HE won it is a stretch.

I don't trust Drew Brees outside of the friendly confines of the superdome at all, he's bound to do something stupid.

I have absolutely 0 faith he can put together a great 4 quarter road game. Thursday will prove my theory sadly once again, I pray for the day I'm wrong yet he keeps proving me and his doubters right over and over.

When was the last time he had a dome like road game again 2009?

So you agree by saying all of that:

"Peyton Manning is a bad playoff QB"

right?

home-like road game, 2012 vs. dallas.

446 yards
3 TDs

Guess what coincidence that was?
The last time we had a good OL with a great OL coach!

Last year x2

Few times in 2012

Few more times in 2011

Few more times in 2010

Peyton is CAPABLE of putting up great numbers on the road. Drew Brees simply cannot, even on madden I think its programmed for him to play bad on the road.

You do know many Nfl fans and analysts believe that also right?

I think you just suck at Madden

Drew Brees last year vs Chicago:

29/35 for 288 yards 2 TDs, 0 Ints

Last year vs ATL

23/33 278 yards 2 TDs, 0 Ints

Lol that was nothing but checkdowns please try again.

ATL in a dome, common opponent do not care.

Had like an 83 rating on the road. Pitiful for a so called "elite"

Rodgers puts up 100 ANYWHERE

Which game was nothing but checkdowns?

Chicago - passes of 38, 25, 35, 19; 8.2 average

Atlanta - 44 yard TD pass; 8.4 average

Our average for 2009 was 8.5...

Tom Brady has, on average, a top 10 defense

Peyton Manning top 15 (12-14 I believe)

Drew Brees came in around 19-21. That has zero impact with playing on the road though

Lots of screens. I saw the game just like you did.

I cant remember a pass that traveled 20 yards.

ATL again that's a dome, you wanna talk about he went up to CAR and lost us the division?

But but the defense I know
