Yep. I think there are forces that hated how unifying sports was, and they've gone about destroying that. And in the case of the Saints and New Orleans fans, they've succeeded. This wasn't just Brees, it was symbolically everyone who felt the same way- avoid the bullshite, work hard, show respect.

I'm out. They can take their false circus and squat in the autonomous zone for all I care. I was on the fence anyway so this simply cinches it for me. Watching a bunch of Millionaires bitch about their lives is not entertainment. Fact is they feel guilty for how overpaid they are and are trying to transfer their guilt to the white population. Divide and conquer. Oldest game in the book. And this country or at least some are falling for it.
These Malcom Jenkins types have an agenda. Sean Payton is clueless and Drew Brees is gutless. ( No doubt Drew feared for the safety of his family and future financial security.)
