It's hard to run when you're constantly getting hit in the backfield. The run blocking is horrible.

It doesn't matter if he's soft...or doesn't block well...or if other backs have a higher YPC average...or the offense is more productive when he's on the sideline...or he doesn't get off the line well...or goes down as soon as he's touched...or has never lived up to his draft selection.............
...............there will ALWAYS be excuses for him on this board. Nobody accuses Alabama fans of overstating his value but if you're a LSU fan and say ANYTHING about little Markie you're automatically labeled as a Bama Hater.
The fact is (and the record proves) he's a VERY average back who has never lived up to his potential...or hype...or draft cost.
Leave him out of the 2nd half and we may win. Leave him in and Atlanta will likely be 6-0.
