Not surprised.

With the way he's running, someone is going to offer him a pretty sweet deal I imagine. Or at least more than we can afford to offer him. We've too many issues to spend a pretty penny on RB albeit I'd love to have him back, I saw this coming a mile away.

Probably true. It would raise red flags for me if a guy never did much until his contract year. I would question that a lot. Doesn't necessarily mean he's the type to sit on money but it would make you wonder.

If we somehow right this ship, make a run for the SB, him leaving would be okay with me. We could at least say that trade net us a 2nd ring.

Damn skippy he is.

Remember earlier in the season when he was pissed on the sidelines?

He is tired of CSP's shite, and has been for four years. He can get his money AND a definite full time job.

I'd love for him to be a Saint with the rest of us next year, but even if we pay him sooner or later it'll just go back to Ingram getting 8-10 carries a game. Coming in, running, then going back out for the RBBC crap.

He played well last year too. And while his first two years weren't great, he averaged 3.9 YPC. That isn't good, the threshold is 4 YPC, but he was right under it.

It isn't like he suddenly became a good player. He's finally getting a chance to be used effectively. He ran well last year too.

He ran hard the second half of last season. We also changed our run blocking schemes.

Yeah.....all CSP's fault

Screw Ingram and his one decent year. Use his arse and get something for him after the season is over.

He would be stupid not to. Anyone wanting to be more then a situational running back would want to get out of New Orleans and from under sean payton.

Nah, he's definitely running a lot harder than he did his first couple seasons. He started running like this late last year I agree (but not beginning of last year).

It's becoming pretty common in the NFL actually.

Oh no, what will the Saints do? Find another UDFA to outplay him? Don't care.

So we got to watch that crap the last 3 years, now he sines in final year, just to bail. How come the Saints have to pay for the break in period?
