I think he should be thankful. If he preforms as well as he did in bursts of last season, I'll be glad to see it.
Shocked

quote:

“Everything has been shocking,” Ingram said. “If something did happen to Pierre, it would be a shocker, too. It would be completely different. I would be the oldest guy in the [running backs meeting] room. It’s crazy to think about, and it’s shocking with everything going on. But it’s just the business side of everything. Those guys in the front office are doing what they think is best to have success this year.”

That's a Hell of a lot better than what Graham said.

Yeah. I think he gets what's being put on his plate. I hope he takes advantage of it.

Well finally get to see what Ingram/Robinson can do full time next year. Although I would like to keep Thomas around for depth. Going into a season with only three RBs would be scary.

We always find a gem HB in UDFA though.

See I'm always wary when people assume that things will just be status quo.

People always say we find linemen late, but there have been at least as many misses as hits. Hell Brown was a 2nd rounder and was a huge bust.

We've been lucky with the UDFA HBs so far but that could stop at any point.

I will say given our favorable history keeping them to help attract them and our very thorough scouting of more unknown guys, we do get a lot of the upper tier UDFAs here.

Well Ingram, I find what Clayton said about Matt Ryan "shocking":

"The key for the Falcons is having Matt Ryan at quarterback. He can carry the team when needed and get Atlanta back into contention."

Really John? Is that why he carried them to 4-12 this year?

Without a freaking head coach and the most inept DC we've had since I can't remember Drew carried us to 7-9. That's carrying an awful team.

Thank god our coach is back.

Some of this probably should have happened last offseason.

Love that Payton is shaking shite up

Yeah, a few of these moves were definitely over due. I wonder if part of the delay may be due to CSP not being here last year, and the Saints not wanting to bring in guys he might not want.

What would you call what he did the second half of the season? Or is all you remember of it the fumble in Seattle?
