Yea, most on this board labeled Cam as having a break out year. I think most saw the potential last year when it started to click for him. He is much more fit for this scheme as well.

Cam, Hicks, J. Jenkins... The potential with these young guys is through the roof.

We have some legit talent on defense, young too.

This defensive line I've been talking up has far exceeded my expectations also. The defense in general has. I laughed at anyone saying it the scheme change and going with an aggressive coordinator won't change things. I said how Ryan is similar to Williams, being a players coach and using an attacking scheme that fits the personnel. So far so good. Just need the offense to get it going... Which is still weird as frick to say.

Two tough divisional oppponents and some not so perfect conditions last weekend in Tampa, I can forgive them.

I think a lot of the stink on the offense is because of the running game right now. We really need to run the football to be effective. I hate seeing us throw 45 times a game.

Yep. The Atlanta game didn't surprise me a bit. Tampa I was quite underwhelmed, but we should remember the field conditions were not in our favor and Tampa's defense is 100% legit. When we needed the 1 minute drive with no Time Out's the offense found a way...Brees reached into the Buc's chests and pulled our their still beating hearts.

Arizona's defense is strong, but not like Tampa. Hopefully we see the offense wake up this week.

Plus we're playing at home. Perfect game for the O to get going.

We probably can't run against Arizona either, so I don't expect much difference this week.

Yep. Divisional games tend to be a low scoring affairs. We should get the offense going this game. On the flip side, the defense might not perform as well. We'll see.

Another thing to remember about the Tampa game: not only did we leave points on the field (which I think Payton will learn from), but the defense forced two turnovers and gave the offense good field position, and the offense did NOTHING with it. Very uncharacteristic. The game could have easily been 21-7 if the offense protects the ball.

We'll have a better chance at a running attack with PT and Sproles taking most of the carries. PT bounces off people. Some other RB works like velcro.
