The LBs have actually been the strength of the defense so far this season, so I'll let Vitt get a pass for now.
Our ST play has been atrocious for a longgggg time, but Marcus returning a punt last week also has me in a forgiving mood.
I just don't think you can look at how much our DL has under-performed for years now and NOT want to fire Johnson. I would can his arse first.

I don't like Vitt, but I can at least tolerate him. Johnson & McMahon have proven themselves very subpar for a while now. These 2 should be gone without question.

How the frick Johnson is still around baffles me. I've seen more people run out with much more production than him. He has to have some dirt on someone so they have to keep his short, fat arse around.

I'd fire vitt bc it'll make the biggest impact bc him and Payton are like best friends, possibly could motivate the other two underachievers

personnel has a lot to with it so that is a legit question. It varies from-year-to-year.
Vitt and Johnson would be in the lead.
I can't fault Johnson for what he has to work with this year but maybe you could have said the same thing the last several years with Vitt.
they are just along for the ride it looks like.
this has been a poorly coached team overall so far this season.
they never have gelled together and that is why we sit here without a win.

Good point. I never looked at it that way. The bad thing is that CSP is probably blind to the fact b/c he and Vitt are such good friends.
