Arizona ain’t giving up #3 for a coach. Time to come back to reality.

If Young is there, you draft Young. He probably won’t be though.

They hired a coach who was fired from Texas Tech. That hire makes less sense than giving up the #3 for a Super Bowl winning coach. Makes even more sense considering they are stuck with the QB after the big contract.

Depending on how far down.

If you can trade down and still feel like you can get Leavy or Stroud then yay, other wise Nay.

I have been a vocal advocate of stockpiling pick over the next two seasons.

I'd even explore draft day trades of Thomas (not likely to net much) and Kamara. Maybe even Cam Jordan but he's past his prime though still productive.

That's the smart thing. Stockpile picks...I'd actually rather 2024 picks, b/c you can get much better value with them. That & get all the dead money off the books.

Seems like the best big picture view.

Not unless you really don’t like the qbs available or someone wants to give you a ransom that you can get a qb next year with. Doesn’t matter how stockpiled your team is if your qb room sucks.

I don't know why everyone keeps saying this. I'd rather have a proven NFL coach than an unproven drafted player. Plus they would still have a first round pick.

You’re just projecting your pessimism onto everyone else. It’s sad.

#3 pick for a proven Super Bowl winning coach seems like a decent deal to me. Especially after investing in a franchise QB

If you’re trying to maximize Kyler Murray you do. They won 11 games 2 seasons ago. It’s not like everything is trash

If CSP wants to ride with Kyler, they might be willing to do it.

Nay we take Stroud.
But AZ won't give that up. Maybe they trade back NOW with a QB needy team and we take that pick.

You take the pick and pray the Georgia DL falls to 3 which probably won’t happen with Chicago having Fieids at QB. Then if he’s gone and you can trade 3 for 2 firsts and a 3rd you do it and use it to restock your roster with quality players that are safe to project. No more taking chances on guys like Davenport. We are set at CB, LB and DE (Granderson is ready to start and you bring back Kpassagnon to a 1 year deal) and you have Cam at the other DE. We need 2 DT, a RB, QB and WR. If you could trade 3 for 2 firsts and a 3rd you’d have 2 first, an early 2nd and two 3rds which would go a long way to restocking this roster with good, cheap talent.

Why would they seek interview Payton? A proven coach like this they will give up their first and likely third to get him.

Rather trade into 2024 picks. When we get a real coach

Another Remote possibility.

Arizona trades down first. Example, trades with Raiders, down to 1.7, stock piles additional picks that add to a compensation package given up to NOLA for Payton.
