I remember threads full of people saying the Saints should pass him IF he fell to us. People said the same thing about Hill.

Completely FALSE. Nobody is opposed to drafting an LSU player. What we are opposed to is the daily "We need to draft this LSU player or Mickey Loomis is an idiot!" thread.
Seriously, the only players who get "we need to draft him!" threads are LSU players and famous players who did something big on television that one time when I watched that game.

I disagree. The majority of this board is against drafting LSU players.
I agree we have too many "should we" he's a FA, he played for whatever university, he ran 20 yards that last play on MNF.

Despite what the media hype says, if I was Tennessee I wouldn't do it. I don't think Mariotta is an upgrade over Mett, and they'd require different offenses to run.
The media would scream, but I'd keep Mett and build around him. You have the picks to make some nice moves, and if you are patient enough to accept it will take 2-3 years, you can be pretty good.
