since the Saints will have to pay him like a WR, then do they just move him to that position anyway and keep more TEs on the roster?

Why would it possibly matter?

What Graham gets paid isn't an on field issue, it's a team building issue. If Graham makes more money that means they have to go cheaper somewhere else, not they have to play him out of position to justify his cost.

This makes no sense. They will play him where they think he best fits and helps the offense, which is exactly how they've been using him. If he wins the arbitration I'd look to move him somewhere else to be honest, and I love everything about Jimmy Graham.

Remove position titles from your brain. It doesn't matter what his listed position is (except for the money). How the Saints use him will remain the same either way.

I'm sorry but I'm a expert...are you drunk?

If the NFL tomorrow said Drew must be paid as a recv do we then move him there?

Hope that helps.

While I don't think this changes how he's used I am interested in what would happen financially if he was to win.

We would have to sign him to a long term deal and probably restructure a contract

I don't think he deserves elite WR money. I would try to move him.

Just because they will have to pay him like a WR doesn't mean that suddenly his roster spot has WR next to his name instead of TE

Personally if he gets paid as a wr then he should be classified as a wr and all his TE stats should be revised as a WR
