Deep ball to Ginn or Thomas....whoever Marcus Peters is covering.

Brees said that last game it was a timing issue. He won't make that mistake twice. Plus it will piss off Peters and possibly take his head out of the game a bit.

The Rams will almost undoubtedly be looking for this.

Saints MUST establish the running game first and put up points early and often. Opportunity to go deep will come once you keep the Defense honest.

I was at the game so i only saw the replay a few times, but it looked to me like Ginn never looked up for the ball. It was underthrown, but if he turned around sooner he could have at least competed for it?

Maybe i'm wrong, like i said, i only saw the replay a few times on the big screen.

Yep. Ball was thrown about 3 years too late.

Said this repeatedly at the game. It was a badly under thrown ball, but the receiver didn’t get his head around and didn’t help his qb out at all.

I'd rather have some more of those soul-crushing 20-play drives.

I hope that we win the toss and defer. Then the crowd can be loud and on the Rams from the start. It also gives a chance to double dip if necessary. If that’s the case, we aren’t taking a deep shot. One play that I want to see is a toss to Taysom on a sweep with pass option. That was a pretty pass to AK.

Normally I'd agree but I'm actually hoping we get the ball first this time. I think the best way to shut down their run game is to jump out to a big lead. So taking the ball and putting up some points would put immediate pressure on their offense. Plus the crowd would be that much more amped up after a scoring drive.

100% yes. Doesn't have to be a run up the middle 1st play. Maybe a pitch to kamara or a sweep. We are a better team and they are bound to make some mistakes in the dome. Payton had to call some risky arse plays because we were down 2 tds so early. Luckily they panned out but I wouldn't count on pulling it out our arse 2 playoff games in a row.
