That will depend on if Kamara’s criminal case gets thrown out and it gets settled in civil.

I said this back when it happened. Kamara will get the same as Desean because he’s on the saints.

NFL suspensions don’t make sense, and the saints get the short end of the stick always.

Kamara isn’t out the woods of jail time I thought

I suspect that the NFL will focus more on the element of criminal charges. AK was charged criminally and it was on video whereas Deshaun somehow was not. Because of those factors and mostly because it is the Saints, I think AK receives that many games, and it likely won’t come down until the critical middle of the season.

Spin-off: Did Lattimore ever get suspended by the league? I don’t think so but I’m waiting for that to occur at an in opportune time. Hopefully it doesn’t happen.

It will be decided by a third party, so hopefully it isn’t egregious. But I think the fact that Kamara was caught on tape and charged is a big deal, so he will get suspended for some time. Likely 4-6 games. Hopefully closer to 4.

Latt didn’t get suspended because everything was on the up & up. The only “problem” was there were questions about the gun (reported stolen?), but he was able to show he had no way to know the legal status of the gun. He also had a concealed carry permit.

To OP, it would be absolutely ridiculous if AK walks w no penalty. If not for the video, it could probably sneak through. But, the video was made public, and the NFL only gives a shite about the shield. 4 games min, originally though up to 8, but now thinking 6 is max

Imagine thinking Goodell has been consistent with his punishments.

Kamara will likely be the overcorrection to this one, especially if there's a lot of media reactions and bashing Goodell for a light punishment on Watson.

I don't like the position Kamara is in now, definitely feeling worse about it after this one.

I know I'll get alot of downvotes for this but being honest.. Kamara needed to be humbled. He was a 3rd, I think, round pick that made it great, got paid and a swelled head. I'll take a mark Ingram personality all day everyday, 1st round pick that bust his arse day in and day out to earn his spot.

What on earth?

Kamara has been the definition of consistency and professionalism since day 1

The NFL’s disciplinary rulings are so retarded that Kamara would get a full year suspension while Watson gets 6 games.

Only good thing is NFLPA will fight back if Goodell gets out of line using precedent just set
Kamara suspension will have to wait until legal process plays out which means the further away from this decision the better for the NFL so they can't try and compare the two

If I'm the Saints I want the suspension served as ASAP to not impact the later part of season and potentially postseason.

True however beating someone on video changes that plus RG hates us. Hopefully he avoids however I'm just hoping it's a few games.

People seem to equate his effortless running style and his fashion choices with laziness and arrogance. I've seen it here and irl since he's been drafted.
