The Saint will have money to spend in FA. They always do. Last season the chicken littles were screaming the Saint would be lucky to get under the cap much less sing any FAs. Then they signed Carr to a 100 million dollar contract.

Of the Saint like him and he wants to play here they will make it work.

I don't remember lsu being in the picture. Bama was for a moment, but state and OM was the battle. That recruiting battle made me give up following recruiting

There won't be a day of reckoning where the Saints clear all the cap debt in one off season. They will instead gradually reduce the effects of the extensions, along with the yearly cap expansion will gradually shrink the cap deficit over several season.

I know some of you want a year or three of total Saints suckage and clearing off of everything fr9om the books, sort of like a Saints strike year where they play with replacement players for pennies on the dollar regardless of if they win only 1, 2 or even no games in that time frame but it's just not going to happen like that.

No Brees, DA, haven’t made playoffs in 3 years, etc

Even if we have the money he will have and choose better offers unless we overpay and we won’t have that kind of money to throw around
