Only thing I ever claimed was that he was a little ahead of Gronk in the receiving depeartment and that Gronk was clearly the better blocker and thus the better overall TE. Also that he was healthier than Gronk. But those were claims I made back in 2012 and the health thing has changed.
I would still take Jimmy on this team and have him used like we were using him. I would not pay the premium we did for him though. Jimmy was a beast in the passing game and still is very good there (for all his flaws).
