How many RBs do we carry?

With 7 RB/FB on the roster, I don't see how we can keep all of them active every week.

- Spiller
- Hightower
- Cadet
- Murphy
- Lasco
- A. Johnson

4 RB + 1 FB i think is what we usually carry active

If they activate Lasco and Murphy for ST, then we wouldn't be able to carry that extra LB or S we normally like to have active.
I'd rather have that extra defender if the defense has to play 80 snaps and keep the starters from tiring out. You watch Murphy on the sidelines when we are on offense and he couldn't be further away from the coaches and without his helmet.

if Lasco plays well enough you might see him supplant Murphy, Cadet or Hightower for a roster spot.

All the highlights they showed in the draft were of him rushing/receiving and making ST tackles.

Hightower played well, but not good enough to be a definite lock. Lasco could very well supplant him.

Has Lasco played any FB? I'd love to cut Austin Johnson and replace him with Lasco just to save space on the roster.

Lasco certainly seems to already be more valuable than Murphy but if he's let go,that brings us back to the question who's our KR.

A 209lb FB?
I really don't understand why SP hasn't just basically gotten rid of the FB and gone with someone like Hooman as an H-Back. The FB is a pretty dead position, and the way we use our FBs, an H-Back makes so much more sense.
Roll with 4-5 RBs and no FB, use Hooman in that role.

This is likely the result and you just decide between Cadet and Murphy as your 5th RB.
