IMO the ref froze and was afraid to make that call. He crapped on himself on the biggest stage. The ref should be retired like 75% of them and allow younger refs a chance to move up.

This particular ref has a history of impacting games with poor calls. Has nothing to do with shitting his pants. He’s just incompetent, like the large majority of NFL refs are.
