It's been time. Sad that Payton cannot hire a DC to save his life. Let Allen audition for the job for 6 weeks. If the D plays with a spark then give him a shot. Right now the entire D side of the ball should be fired, including the players.

He's right. I don't really think Allen will be the answer we want, but it's worth a shot for the rest of the year.

Sean is loyal to his ACs to a fault. Id say at this point it doesn't matter,Sean cant find a DC to save his life. Who wants to come here to be fired?

Obviously, either of those guys is a huge upgrade. And to be fair, I Think everyone on this board would settle for just an average DC.

Im sure by now the word is out about Sean and how he treats his DCs. You don't get to bring in your guys, instead you have to deal with his who have been here through the past failed DCs and you get all the blame as you get zero input on personnel.

Off topic but am I the only one who thinks we should be running a 3-4 defense? Given our players strengths. I wanna scream everytime I see Kikaha dropping in coverage.

He's not saying they'd come here. He was saying that you can get a great DC without offering said DC a head coach position. Do you guys read?

Yes, and obviously better than you since the OP admitted that's where he was going when he acknowledged the key point I made was correct about Sean not allowing DCs to bring in their own guys
