This thread is ridiculous. Before Ingram got hurt he was ranked 3rd in the NFL in total yards from scrimmage. People on this board serious underestimate what he's done for us bc of the Bama connection IMO.

Ant that's exactly what it is, had Ingram been from LSU and had the same production ppl would be saying how avg our oline is and he needs a FB ect.

Everyone loved Ivory -and anyone else not named Ingram- and said how much better he was. Yet it took Ivory a week after Ingram went down to cath him in rushing yards. And the Jets are more run oriented than we are and have a better oline.
TH's first game he had a 3ypc avg. And from ppl on here and the radio youd think he was the best in the league. "Much better runner than Ingram" Its been 1 game and he avg'd 3 ypc.

Threads like these are why this board has become the laughingstock of my bathroom.

You're smoking some crack. He's solid but not better than Ingram. Guy might have more power than him but that's about where the advantages end over Ingram. His cuts look like someone tied a block to his feet.

On that same subject, Cadet might be the slowest receiving back I've ever seen. He should just be standing in place when he gets his feet going.

Ingram is way better than Hightower, period even with whatever faults he might have. This is coming from someone who was highly critical of Ingram before this season but he's earned every penny this year. He looked like a complete back and FINALLY put it all together. His injuries are an issue but so is it for any RB that's featured in the league. Sometimes I question his vision and running in the arse of his lineman but his production before he went down doesn't lie. He was 3rd in total yards from scrimmage. He actually improved in the receiving and pass blocking game this year.
