Ingram and Robinson are very complementary.
This was very evident to me during the Eagles game. A thing of beauty.

Evident to me:
If I recall right, earlier in the year Ingram was struggling with when to turn it up field. He kept running sideways trying to find holes and never did. In the video, he looked a lot more decisive in that regard and it paid off.
For a big man, Khiry can make some nasty cuts. That differs from Ingram who doesn't have quite that same ability. And I love how he refuses to go down easy. He pushes for an extra 1-2 yards
I think its pretty obvious that CSP had more trust in Thomas and Sproles for their experience as well as their skill in running the offense he likes. But as the year went on, he realized what he had in MI/KR and started to give them more touches. I do love PT for what he's done here but it may be time to move him into a more limited role and let Ingram and Robinson get a majority of the touches.

Ingram's entire career changed after being booed for dropping that pass in the Dallas game. He evolved and has continued to get better since that point.
His criticism up till then was beyond deserved - he was dreadful in the early games.
Robinson is a fricking natural and I can't wait to see him next year.

+1. Ole 2 yard Ingram. Was always good for 2 yards until you needed them. Hoping he stays healthy and continues his late season success.

Just some stats to get us hyped.
While Ingram averaged 4.9 yards per carry on the season, he averaged 5.6 from his return vs the Jets all the way through the playoffs.

I didn't make it. I just posted it. Despite popular belief, I don't have that much time on my hands.

I just want Ingram to work on his ball security, then he will be a hoss. If he can handle catching a few more passes he's pretty good in the open field. With our defense so good I think MI & KR need 15+ carries each and Pierre be our 3rd down guy. The more we run the more the play action will open up and that's when brees really kills it. And while I agree we should take a WR in the first 3 rounds, if we go to a more balances power offense the need for one is lessened. We could bring back meach for minimum for his blocking and chemistry with drew

His ball security has been fine. People remember the fumble against Seattle, but that was his first fumble since his rookie year. So he's had two career fumbles in 3 years.

Wet conditions and a defense that hits like that. Surprised we didn't fumble more.

I'm pretty sure Robinson had a similar drop that could very well have been called a fumble.
But he didn't go to Bama, so.

I root for all saints players regardless of school. I really like what Ingram did in the 2nd half of the year he just needs to be prepared or a full workload aka less drops and two hands on the ball. Robinson does too but I personally don't remember his drops like I do MI's. I expect both to have 50+ more carries and double the targets in the passing game so we'll see what they're made of. I'm excited I have high expectations for both
