Have the Saints ever trade raped a team like we seem to get every trade?

Just recent examples

The Davenport trade was a disaster

The Olave trade is looking even worse than the Davenport one considering Sam Howell, Brian Robinson and Jalen Carter, the fav to be defense roy, were picked using the picks we traded. And still have to give up a 2nd this year. So possibly 4 starters for Olave.

The CGJ trade was pretty one sided.

Lutz trade not looking so hot.

Going back further.
The John Sullivan disaster trade up.

The Ricky Williams trade even tho we were lucky to get 2 firsts back for him b/c he had a career season.

Traded aging Pat Swilling for 2 picks that became Lorenzo Neal and Willie Roaf.

Got 2 1’s and a 4th from the Dolphins for Ricky Williams. Didn’t do great with those picks but that’s a great haul.

Traded Brandin Cooks for the pick that became Ryan Ramczyk

So yea, some good deals

Yeah I would add the trade that sent JG to the Hags and we got Unger and a first. Of course the FO fricked up that first round pick but the trade was better for our side. Not rape though.

Was a good trade. But then we traded Roaf for a 4th that became a 3rd because of his play. He made 1st team all pro 3-4 more years with the chiefs. So yet another trade we eventually got bent over in.

Probably the best trade we made since I didn’t think we’d get a first for Cooks.

I’d say we definitely got better value in that trade. But we totally blew the first round pick. Jimmy G was on a hall of fame path until that trade. And think of the money assets we gave up trying to fill his spot for years that still hasn’t been filled to this day. (Fleener, old Ben Watson, Cook) How many games did they cost us. Cook cost us Breees last game.,

And shitbird Arnold was a big reason we lost the NFCCG. The no call is the worst in history, but between Sean Payton being a fricking moron by not having the team prepared for a fake punt, Brees noodling that pass, and a few other things we fricked up that game, the Saints have that elusive 2nd SB, even with the NFL trying to cheat us out of it.

4 best trades in my lifetime

Jimmy and a 4th for Unger and a 1st
Ricky for 2 1sts + a 4th
A 4th for Vilma
Brandin Cooks and a 4th for Ryan Ramcyzk and Trey Hendrickson

The Saints obviously botched the draft picks but these were amazing hauls with Vilma being the best return

I don’t even want to start a list of bad Saints trades because holy hell

Honorable mention good saints trades

Grubbs for a 5th = Tyler Davison

Traded 2nd and 5th for Jeremy Shockey
2nd = Clint Sintim and 5th = Rhett Bohmar

Stallworth for Mark Simoneau + 4th
4th = Jermon Bushrod

Traded 2nd for Jeff Faine + 2nd
2nd = Roman Harper

Traded 4th for Hollis Thomas + 4th
4th = Jahri Evans

Olave has still been better than Jameson Williams and Jahan Dotson. I really wanted to stay back and draft Christian Watson. He is often injured though. Wan'Dale Robinson and John Metchie have not done much. I know one had a health issue.

I hate Olave's effort this season, but he's still among the best WRs of that class. Alec Pierce and Skyy Moore have done nothing lately.

I also loved Garrett Wilson in the draft, but he went before Olave.

Traded into the 3rd to snag Kamara. Good trade there also.

Worst trade rape was taking Steve Walsh from the Cowboys, bar none.

Darren Sharper liked to rape, but he was not a trade.
We signed him as a free agent.

I said in the draft thread, he was the only receiver worth moving up for. Another guy I really liked and thought might be the most talented receiver in the draft class was Pickens. He didn’t even go in the first and has better numbers than Olave with a crappier qb.

Forgot about him. Didn’t he cost us two firsts.
