Howard. I like Watson too, but you dont draft a QB in the early first round unless you need him to start soon. Howard wont be there at 32 but McCaffery might (or another RB) if thats what you want.

Like him a lot as well. I think he's surprisingly underrated and probably the best WR coming out. I wouldn't mind him or Howard at 11. That's too high for McCaffery for me.

Brees is not under contract past this season. Anything can happen next FA.

Yeah, I'm not going to lie. If the Saints have another mediocre year and Brees is still great, I can see a team like the Jets or the Broncos offering him a ridiculous deal with multiple years for an outlandish amount of money, even at his age.

At that point we will be kind of fricked, and have to draft maybe 2 QBs, Redskins style.

I take Watson at 11th spot. I might move up 2 spots beat Buffalo.

Does frisco really pass up a qb if they don't get cousins?

OJ Howard is instant success, but if we have the chance at Watson at 11 and lost ALL the big D names, I'd consider it. He's a damn good player and could hopefully go the Aaron Rodgers route.

Mike Williams

Have fun with Thomas/Williams on the outside and Snead underneath

You're worried about Allen's shoulders when he never missed a game, but you'd take Cook after shoulder surgery and multiple leg injuries? Odd

I'd flip a coin between Howard and Watson. On one hand we've seen what that type of tight end can do in this offense. Howard is just as big, faster, stronger, and a much better blocker than Graham.

On the other hand I think Watson can be a great player. You don't pass up a franchise quarterback for an all pro tight end. He doesn't have to start right away and gets to be acclimated to the pro game.

This QB class is terrible.

They just might not see a difference between, say, Trubisky and someone like Mahomes or Kizer or Kaaya.

So they take a Thomas or Fournette, and then take the best QB in the 2nd, or trade up to 32 or 31 to get a guy at the end of the 1st.
