You must think that since Junior got his contract, he's been playing balls to the wall.

He's leading this defensive line with 3 sacks over 5 games. Don't let that number fool you, 1 of those sacks was a christmas present in Fall when Bridgewater tripped and fell onto the ground. All he did was literally touch him when he was laying there for a good few seconds.

I'm holding Junior to a standard. For a 10million dollar man, he sure ain't playing like it. Take away the giftwrapped present and he's 2 sacks in 5 games. I expect an 8-figure, top 5 paid OLB to put up better numbers blah blah blah.

Lets say this, for a 10mil dollar man, Jimmy can play in 7 of the next 11 games and still put up top 3 TE numbers.

Junior may not even put up top 5 OLB numbers playing every game.

So he didn't really sprain his shoulder?

These are my opinions. Yall all have your own. Doesn't make me less of a man that you, nor does it make me retarded.

Once again, having an opinion doesn't make it free from ridicule or give you a free pass on what you say. You don't seem to understand that concept.

quote:

The cut and dry point here is that I want better from the players on the team that I love. Holding them to a standard - that although may seem extreme to some - that is above that of a normal player because he plays for the Saints.

So he should risk the entire season to play the next game at less than 100%?

quote:

All of you white knights claiming I'm out of line for wanting more from our star TE need to get a fricking grip and realize that Jimmy isn't beyond criticism.

Get a grip on what?

I'm really trying to understand your point here.

You point to his injury last year that he play through. You realize that the risk with that injury was to complete the tear, which is actually a good thing for that recovery.

This injury can be further aggravated. You get him to 100% so that he can finish the season. Would you rather have him for 1 game or the 8 games?

You have a negative opinion of my favorite player?!

WAAAHH WAAAAHHHH!!

I'll show you! Me and my buddies are gonna call you names because of how stupid you are to have an opinion of your own!!

Nice try though.

You've been personally attacking Jimmy and calling him names throughout this thread

His opinion is completely reasonable and isn't calling Junior names, see the difference?

Please tell me you understand that Jimmy's injury is different than last year?

Thats what you're clearly not getting buddy, I haven't attacked a fellow poster. I've made several comments about Jimmy Graham. Never once did I call anyone here retarded or the "worst poster on TD"...or even worse suggest that someone become a Cowboys fan (which was so funny I nearly pissed myself).

My opinion hasn't changed a bit, nor will it, regardless of what bullshite gets thrown in my direction.

If I was to create and alter and jump to my own defense I'd be no better than some of the other posters here who no matter what insane trolling crap comes our of their mouth they are somehow datty worthy.

My point is and always has been how I feel about Jimmy Graham. Players that get paid then underproduce is frustrating. Should I apologize for hurting yalls feelings because my opinion was of Graham? Absolutely. Not.

When it's all said and done, I haven't said anything any worse than anyone else.

You said this:

Which is honestly one of the dumbest things I have ever read.

How is it possibly beyond coincidental that he got hurt right after getting paid?

That suggests that you believe he is faking his injury. You realize that is basically impossible with the medical staff? Is he doctoring MRI's?

Honest question:

Do you watch professional sports? You've honestly never heard of an athlete getting a huge contract and then almost immediately get hurt and not perform at the same level that made him worthy of the contract? If you havent, then maybe we can create another topic on amother board and educate.

What the hell exactly do you owe Jimmy that makes you want to have his back this much? Because to me, he's just a player on the team that I love and 110% subject to criticism.

I don't argue that his injury is legitimate, he just now falls into a category of star athlete who gets paid and suddenly goes from hard as hell to made of glass.

blind hate...makes sense

He hasn't had his best season...saying he has underproduced is a stretch...34 receptions, 376 yards, 3 TDs...again, players don't get to decide if they play when injured.

So he should play through a sprained shoulder and risk the entire season?

You realize that is Sean Payton and the medical staff's decision right?

A sprained shoulder is different from last year's injury, where the potential risk for furthering the injury is actually beneficial to recovery and pain management

No shite. Graham should have gotten hurt in week 1. He's so selfish and not a team player. A real team player would have purposely gotten hurt in week 1...so he could be playing this week.

lol, my opinions are facts. Spread it out. 3 sacks over 5 games extrapolates to 9.6sacks a year. Not even top 5 numbers. To make it even more reasonable, take away his gifted sacks and it'd look like 6.4 sacks on the year.

Never once did I call you a name though btw. Read it again, I don't need to throw out insults to prove my point.

Are they the ones in your head? Because the statistics don't reflect it.
