Big hits != bounty system. I'm not sure why I still try here anymore but there's a difference between being warned about a system, disregarding that warning and continuing the "alleged" bounty system vs. making a brutal hit in which that player was probably fined for on an individual basis. Simply put, one was a hit by an individual player vs. a system that was implemented and executed by the defense and it's coaches.

You are quite obviously, a complete moron. No player has denied the existance of a bounty program. They deny the existence of a program with the intent to ingure. Which, by nature, would consist of violent hits that warrent penalties and fines. None of which were handed out in any of the games in question (Vikes and Cards). So, learn a little before you go blabbering your mouth. There's a difference between what existed and what Goodell is saying existed.

I'm not sure why I still try here anymore but here are four reasons you don't know what the frick you are talking about:

1. Please show me the proof that Vilma or Will Smith implemented any pay-to-injure bounties. I'll wait.

2. Please show me ONE, just ONE, big hit by Vilma or Will Smith, and for funzies, you can have carte blanche on all the tackles they ever made during their tenure as Saints. I'm still waiting.

Good one Freek!

DoubleDown, did we stump/embarras/infuriate
you?
Where is your intelligent, well-thought-out retort?, ohhhh DoubleMulliganDown-Ashama-Red-Teabag-Neck-Dirty Bird ???

Mccray fined $20,000
LINK /

LINK : Favre late knee shot
LINK : Legal but dirty defenseless Warner hit
Warners hit was legal and both were only temporary knockouts, but he probably would have gotten the suspected bounty 10,000 + 10,000 = covered fine (Mccray was fined for two hits in the Vikings game).

Step 1: Impossible to prove/disprove without having inside information
Step 2-3: Is irrelevant since they are not getting suspended for big hits (on the field), they are being suspended for offering money for cheapshots (off the field)and would qualify the whole team not just themselves.
Step 4: Is your best bet of getting off the hook

3. If you can find one brutal hit by Vilma or Smith (which you won't), please make sure the player who took the hit was "knocked -out" or "carted off" because that is part of the criteria for Vilma/Smith suspensions set by the Goodell.

4. After you've completed the first three steps, make sure that the proof of the big hit by Vilma or Smith that resulted in a carted off or knocked out player happened after Aug 4th, 2011, because the CBA doesn't allow any punishment for any "player misconduct" prior to that date.

You are better off continuing to keep Goodell's dick in your mouth as opposed to coming here & spewing out/regurgitating Goodell's bullshite lines with absolutely no evidence.

McCray's low hit on Favre WASN'T ANYWHERE NEAR HIS
KNEE !! Favre's foot was planted, and when McCray was diving from behind, he actually hit the back of Favre's calf ands upper ankle.
That's why Favre limped off, because his foot was planted when hit from behind.
What was McCray supposed to do, levitate in mid flight and hit him in the arse or the shoulder pads???

The hit on Warner was a BLOCK AFTER AN INT.
Hargrove hit Warner in chest and shoulder, NOT the knees or helmet.....

I was not clear it was not a direct knee shot. Its a type hit that normally tears knee ligaments this time injured his ankle. He still has both feet on the ground after the ball is thrown. He cant see that from his view. What he can see is that the hips and legs have rotated. There's a reason he got fined for it.

On the Warner hit there is nothing wrong with it. He does avoids the cardinal that is in a better position and makes the actual tackle to get to Warner though.

Sooooo, let me get this straight:

1. You are agree it is impossible to prove Vilma or Smith implemented a bounty system.
2. You agree that Vilma & Smith's play on the field wasn't suspension-able.
3. You agree that Vilma & Smith were in fact suspended due to impossible-to-prove accusations.
4. You agree that the 2009 accusations of player misconduct occurred during a period the CBA established as non-punishable, thus the Vilma/Smith suspensions could reasonably be overturned based on this fact.

Nice 1st post. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Now go tell that Falcons fricker (& the other Goodell knob-gobblers that have visited here recently) that despite the words or actions that are alleged or admitted to have occurred by Saints coaches & other non-suspended Saints players, there is no tangible evidence that establishes any misconduct by Vilma/Smith & no article in the joint agreement that permits the punishments that were sentenced to Vilma/Smith.

If you don't think that Harbaugh has a system of encouraging tough hard hits then you are a fool. This was indicative of many of the hits by the niners against the Saints in the playoff game last year. Like the one that put Pierre Thomas "OUT" of the game! Hello!

Both Favre and Warner said the hits by the Saints were legal. Hard, but legal.
