Bress definitely isn't to blame. But his contract did make it tougher to put talent around him like it would anywhere else a QB gets a payday. It's a obstacle every team with a good QB has to face. The Patriots had to, the Packers had to and the Seahawks and 49ers will eventually have to. I say we've done a decent job of working around his contract. But this year is the real test imo as we're making bolder moves.

Do you not see the talent we have on both sides of the ball? Plus, we havent even made it to the draft yet and you are talking nonsense. What is your rationale for Brees contract and this teams chances at a superbowl? You disregard stats, but claim that brees is not as good as the other 100+ mil dollar quarterbacks? His numbers are equal or better than most of those guys. So you would agree that NE, GB, BAL, DEN have no shot at a SB either correct?

Go ahead and post Maxwell's whole stat line as well if you think White's is comparable.
White did do an amazing job against the always scary Brandon Lafell at home though!

Has it? We have 2 highly paid guards and keep bringing in free agent after free agent.
Obviously playing for the league minimum would allow us more free agents, but we've done very well in free agency

Maxwell is the #2 for Seattle, so I'm not sure why we're even having this debate
