What a dick:

LINK

quote:

According to Foster, his girlfriend, who is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was speaking to the Saints just before they were about to use the 32nd pick on Foster when she looked down and saw a San Jose area code. She handed the phone to Foster, who was unsure what to do.

"So I clicked over to the San Francisco 49ers and I said hello, with the New Orleans Saints still on the line," Foster said. "I wanted to be a 49er

But Lynch informed Foster of the trade and said he was about become a 49er. The Saints, meanwhile, waited on the other line but never heard from Foster again.

"I hung up," Foster said, sheepishly.

He won't be missed, a shite from Bama that can't control is ego with a nurse and can't stay off drugs for a known drug testing date during the combine obviously has some problems

Foster is going to be an All-Pro

If the Saints wanted him, they shouldn't have waited for him to fall to 32.

Loomis and Payton are idiots

You realize this has already been posted here already right? Plus what do you expect him to do? Tell the 49ers no to drafting him even though they're on the clock before us?

don't give a shite but that was a poor edit for added pot stirring.

The rest of the quote...

After his news conference, Foster clarified to ESPN that he didn't mean to hang up on the Saints, but he had to continue his conversation with Lynch.

"It was no disrespect to the Saints or none of them, it was just at that moment, he told me he was trading out from the 34th to the 31st," Foster said. "It was a crazy story."

He can spin it anyway he wants to the dumb arse, but he can't clarify it, you don't hang up on people because it shows immaturity. You explain to them briefly what has transpired and thank them for their interest, it's what people with good manners know how to do, it's what I would have done at that age because of how my parents raised me. But he doesn't have class, so that's to be expected.

I still don't believe it happened, but if it did shame on the saints for tipping their hat early, especially in the first round.

This is why you shouldn't call a guy till you turn his name in

Maybe

Apparently most teams think he needs another shoulder surgery

In hindsight, sure. At pick 28, Taco, Watt, and Foster were all on the board. It took a division rival trade, which has to be unbelievably rare, to snipe him.

It took pick 34 and the 49ers 4th rounder to move up. So we would have likely had to be okay with giving up 32 and our late 3rd as we don't have a 4th.

shite happened, it sucked, but we didn't panic and arguably got the best tackle in the draft with Strief on the last year of his contract. That's a high value position.

I think Sean Payton was busy at that moment either way.

And you have no idea what you would have done or what he even means by using a pretty generic term. I believe he already clarified it too. Saints shouldn't have called him before it was a done deal or we were on the clock.

It was a moment of excitement and chaos for him. Let's see how composed you are in the moment of your biggest dream being realized.

I don't believe a word foster says. Why would the saints give a shite about his girlfriend? The guy is obviously scum.

she's from Baton Rouge, the idea of her being in the area as part of his support system was appealing
