Totally Agree with your post!! You want to see winning committed organizations look no further than the Texans! That’s just one example. KC is another. The 49rs Ravens as well. Those Owners want to win but Gayle is happy to put her hands together with her Special seat at St Louis Cathedral every Sunday so she can pretend to be holier than thou and a Socialite in Her little Circle! This is 100% fact. Dennis overseas all Benson owned companies.
On another note, several coaches have interviewed with other teams this past week. We are going to lose some key position coaches because Dennis the bean counter won’t pay them more.

She was actually active in the management of the team (at least early on). Hell, she was the one who moved them from LA to St Louis. I don't get the sense Gayle wants to be that involved, at all. Tom died ahead of the 2019 season. At that time the Saints were coming off a year (2018) where they were the #1 seed in the NFC and missed out on a Super Bowl appearance because of a blown call. There wasn't much for the owner to do at that point but stay out of the way.
Since that time the team has slowly declined. But like Frontiere, she's placed autonomous control in the hands of the GM/team president. Guys that have been with the franchise for two decades. The Rams struck gold in 1999 when Kurt Warner came out of nowhere to pair with Mike Martz. Once that pairing ended the Rams went into a tailspin of bad to mediocre for a long time.
Frontiere never fired John Shaw...who she basically let run the team for 30+ years. Rams fans hated him. That history is kind of repeating itself here. Gayle is not going to fire Loomis.
