It wasn't that mamy years ago that the Saints were pathetic like the Colts and Rams are today. I remember when the Saints would pull off an upset of a good team. Man it felt good. Well yesterday it happened to our Saints. They will bounce back. Still faithful since John Gilliam's touchdown run vs the Rams back in the day. Just heppy to have lived long enough to see them be winners.

I will always support my team and cheer hard for them, but sorry, I can't believe in this team this year.

Major concerns on the offensive line. No pressure from our D-line. Poor linebacking play.

If our offense stalls, then we are pretty much done for as we are 0-2 in the games where it was obvious the offense was flat (Tampa Bay and St. Louis)

And yes we are 5-3. But those 5 wins really aren't that impressive. The awful colts, the bears with their terrible line, come from behind over the Texans (legit win), ugly win in Jacksonville, and a come back win against Carolina.

Luckily, Tampa Bay and Atlanta are both mediocre teams.

I bought my season tickets when we drafted Ricky. This game does not bother me.

I think some are worried because we are no longer an elite team. We're just pretty good. That doesn't mean we can't make a run. I believe!

If we're not an elite team than who else is? Everyone else in the league except maybe the Packers have issues to address. We are still considered an elite team by most people's standards

I'm pretty much here as well. I will always support the Saints no matter how badly they are playing, but I just don't see greatness from this team. They don't execute, they don't have greater talent to overcome this, and the defense is in shambles. We don't have a single player that is just plain nasty and mean, outside of possibly Jenkins. We look like a soft team and I don't think that will get it done. Can they beat any team in the league? Of course they can, I just don't see it happening this year. Need a lot of new blood on the defensive side and a few OLinemen.

What are you smoking? They don't execute? They are a week away from executing on practically every single play called. They don't have greater talent to overcome this? Our QB may be the best in the game right now, our RB's are stacked, our WRs are still one of the best corps in the league, we have the best young TE in the game, our oline, with all its problems still has Nicks and Evans. We have the talent, and we still have a very good shot to win it all this year.

You don't "see greatness" anyway.

You smell greatness.

hyped up all week due to playing the colts, went and played a team that was hungry for their first win...the rams just wanted it more, and watching the o-line makes me sad.

I would like to be smoking whatever it is you are. We have talent on Offense, but it is not consistent. You didn't address our piss poor Defense. We can't stop the run and we can't run the ball. Nicks and Evans look like average Guards this year. Whether that's due to their supporting cast or they just are getting fat and lazy, Brees is not protected like he used to be. Any QB becomes flawed when they are constantly pressured. I'm not saying we have no chance to win the SB, just not as good of one as I thought.

I'm so complacent now. After that SB win, reaching the promised land, after wallowing in mediocrity for so long, it was like, "Where do we go from here?"

The answer is BACK to the promised land. And i'll believe from now until we get back, and after.

But seriously, an elite LB or OT in the first round this year.

Don't have one

Make a move in FA for a LB please!!!! The 3rd-7th rounders aren't exactly cutting it. I would love a proven commodity.

Good plan, except we don't have a 1st in the 2012 draft

Yep. As long as Breesus can pull on a jersey I will be happy and this team can be relevant.

I still weep with joy knowing Aaron Brooks is not the QB.

Winter bothers me more than THIS loss. We will have to traveling as we go deep into the playoffs. Green Bay or New York. We will be toast.
